State of Development 03/11/12

I’ve been working on a top-down action adventure, sadly, its still very early and not quiet worth showing yet.

Added:

  • player
  • movement
  • enemies
  • attacking
  • gems as currency (in various denominations)
  • randomly generated loot
  • enemy loot drops
  • basic player vs enemy collision physics
  • an inventory data structure
  • collectible keys that open doors
  • ceiling tiles which disappear when you walk under them
  • solid walls

Everythings rock solid so far, here’s to hoping it goes well.
